From the first day in office, Francisco Peña became cleaning and sanitation in the
main objective of his administration. It is difficult to find a city of Santo Domingo Oeste who does not speak highly of the tremendous work done by the engineer Peña on urban sanitation.
Its investment program works and services is closely attuned to the priorities of the municipality. The works undertaken include the construction of 30 bridges, the reconstruction of 7 parks, construction of 20 sports fields, construction of 6 multi-purpose building or rebuilding of 12 churches, sanitation 50 critical points of ravines, the asphalting of tens miles of streets, and the settlement of hundreds of Critical storm drains.
Francisco Peña was guided by the principle of good public administration that the best work is not the largest nor the most expensive but most needed in each community
